CancerDancer travelled to the nation’s capital last week to shake Congress by the shoulders and….no, actually we were there to attend the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance (OCNA) Conference. A couple of weeks ago, I blogged on blogging. One of the blogs we mentioned, “If Cancer were Easy, They’d Call it your Mom” is penned by our friend, OC Warrior. Soon, she will be your friend, too. OCW was twenty when diagnosed with ovarian cancer and is now fighting a stage IV battle. Not only does she deal with the personal loss that comes with a scary stage IV diagnosis, but she has lost the love of her life to cancer last year as well. OCW shows the strength and grace that make us proud to know her. So take a sec, sit down and let her words touch and inspire you.
